BOGDAN IORGA: "Mioritza Gets Integrated, Doesn't She?"

The artist takes and commenting the situation: his country, Romania, has recently join The European Union. That means everything must change, in order to folow the "plans and recommendations" of the union: the people, the agricultural production, the towns and villages. Ironically, B.I. projected improved animals and their by-products, starting from the point that Romania was known formerly as an agricultural country, in the first place. He shows many sheeps, because the sheep breeding was common in this country. (There is a basic Romanian legend, on the myth of death, telling that "Mioritza" - the magic sheep, is warning her master about his coming murder.)
